A Chicago-based company has announced the launch of the first-ever smart toilet for dogs, BrilliantPad.
BrilliantPad allows dogs to go to the bathroom inside, and takes care of the cleaning aspects automatically.
When the dog goes to the bathroom on the pad, the system automatically pushes the pad into a latched trap which seals away the waste (and therefore the odor). When the pad supply runs empty, you can just grab the clean surface and throw the pad away.
You can even set a timer which automatically replaces the pad 1, 2, or 3 times daily.
Pad rolls can last up to several weeks, and are easy to replace. The components are made to prevent leaks and spills, and bonus – they are made eco-friendly! The end-caps and rods are biodegradable, and the pads are composed to use 1/3 less material than traditional pads.
