Costco Is Getting Rid Of Polish Hot Dogs And People Are Pissed

For many, a trip to Costco is not complete without a stop at the food court, for an absurdly cheap $1.50 hot dog combo or a greasy slice of ‘za. It’s no surprise, then, that Costco customers are less-than-thrilled with some changes being made to the food court menu. Per The Seattle Times, the Polish hot dog has been removed from the lineup to make room for healthier options, including acai fruit bowls, organic burgers, and a plant-based protein salad.

The shift to healthier choices at Costco’s food court is intended to cater to more customers. According to The Seattle Times, chief executive Craig Jelinek shared that comments about the food court menu frequently appear in the suggestion boxes at Costco stores.
